SPACE TALK
Refund policy
Effective 21 October 2026
1. Who sells and what this covers
Space Talk is operated by LLC "Astrey Consulting", Kyrgyz Republic. Monthly subscriptions are sold on our website through Paddle: Paddle.com is our reseller and the merchant of record, processes payments and refunds, and its Refund Policy and Buyer Terms apply to your purchase together with this policy.
Mandatory consumer rights in your country always apply and prevail over anything in this policy. This policy never reduces the rights you had under the version in effect when you paid.
2. Cancelling your subscription
Your subscription renews automatically every month until you cancel. You can cancel at any time: in your Space Talk account on the web (Subscription & billing, then Manage subscription), with the “Manage subscription” link in your Paddle receipt email, or at paddle.net.
Cancellation stops all future payments. Your plan and its remaining minutes stay available until the end of the period you have already paid for; then the plan ends. Unused minutes do not carry over to the next month. Cancelling does not by itself refund a payment already made.
Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription. Deleting your Space Talk account cancels the subscription automatically, so no further payments are taken; if Paddle is temporarily unavailable, we keep retrying until the cancellation is confirmed. The remaining minutes of the current period end with the account, and that period is not refunded automatically. If you only want to stop paying and keep your account, cancel the subscription instead, as described above. If a renewal is still charged after you have deleted your account, we will refund it (see section 4).
3. Your statutory right to withdraw
If you are a consumer in the EU, the EEA, Switzerland or the UK, you can withdraw from your subscription within 14 days of your first payment. Under Paddle’s Refund Policy this right covers the first payment, not later monthly renewals. In the EU you can use the withdrawal button in the Paddle customer portal (the “Manage subscription” link in your receipt email, or paddle.net). In the UK and elsewhere, make the request at paddle.net or through the support link in your receipt.
If you agreed at checkout that the service could start immediately and you used it during those 14 days, you may have to pay for the service already provided, so the refund may be reduced in proportion, or the right may no longer apply, to the extent the law allows. Consumers in some other countries have their own cancellation periods, which Paddle applies as described in its Refund Policy.
4. When we arrange a refund
In addition to your statutory rights, we will fix the problem or arrange a refund through Paddle when:
- you were charged twice for the same period;
- a payment was taken without your authorization (please also report it to Paddle);
- you were charged but the paid plan never appeared in your account and we could not fix this promptly;
- you were still charged for a renewal after you had deleted your Space Talk account (for example, because the account was deleted shortly before the renewal): deletion cancels the subscription automatically, and a deleted account cannot receive the minutes;
- we discontinued Space Talk, or ended your access for a reason other than your breach of our terms; in this case the refund is for the unused part of the current paid month;
- a fault on our side made the paid service unusable for you and we could not fix it within a reasonable time; in this case the refund is usually for the part of the month when the service could not be used.
Please tell us as soon as you notice a problem; for a fault, within 30 days of the payment, so that we can check it. Later requests are still considered under your statutory rights.
5. What we do not usually refund
Unless section 4 applies, the law requires otherwise or Paddle approves a refund at its own discretion, we do not refund:
- a monthly renewal that was not cancelled before it was charged;
- a partly used month, or minutes left unused at the end of a period;
- the rest of a month after you cancel or move to a cheaper plan.
Paddle may, at its own discretion, refund a request made within 14 days of a payment, in full or in part; making a request does not guarantee a refund. Usage is the translation time described in our terms: waiting, the translated voice and listeners use no minutes.
6. How to request a refund
For a technical problem, please write to us first so that we can try to fix it. To request a refund, use the link in your Paddle receipt email or paddle.net (“Request refund”), or write to team@kikorobots.com with your account email, the Paddle order or receipt number and a short description of the issue. Do not send passwords, access tokens, full card numbers or private conversation recordings.
Contacting us does not remove your right to contact Paddle, your bank or a consumer authority.
7. After a refund or a payment dispute
When a payment is refunded in full, the plan and minutes from that payment end. After a partial refund, we tell you what access remains. A refund does not always cancel the subscription itself; if you do not want it to renew, also cancel it as described in section 2. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method where possible; when the money reaches you depends on Paddle, the payment method and your bank. If you plan to dispute a payment with your bank (a chargeback), please contact us or Paddle first; access may be paused while a dispute is open.
8. Other payment channels
If your receipt names Apple, Google or another seller, that seller’s refund rules apply. Purchases inside the Space Talk apps are not currently enabled. For access arranged directly with us, contact our support address and include the payment reference.
